[ As soon as the video feed begins, there is a face that is, perhaps, just a bit too close to the screen. ]

Ooh-! It's working!

[ And then she backs up, eyes brightened and a broad smile stretching from ear to ear. ]

Oh, my gosh! I can't believe that this is actually happening! Superpowers! An alternate universe!! Can you [ you being directed towards nobody in particular ] imagine the possibilities?

[ She spreads one of her arms out and upwards (quite dramatically), the motion causing her glasses to slide down the bridge of her nose. She pauses for a moment, and, afterwards, promptly straightens herself, her forefinger pushing her glasses right back up.

Maybe she got a little too excited for a second there. ]

Anyways, I should probably introduce myself! My friends call me Honey Lemon, and I look forward to spending some time here with everyone!

[ As she follows along, she is simultaneously allowing her eyes to wonder as they pass from room to room. It really isn't so much nosiness as it is attempting to get a feel for this new environment.

Her concentration falls back onto Tadashi when he speaks again, and a light frown tugs at the edges of her lips. ]

No, but that doesn't mean that they won't eventually be here.

[ It's definitely a house inhabited by teenaged boys. While Shinjiro and Tadashi probably keep it from being a total wreck, it's still cluttered and messy in spots. Especially anywhere Hiro's laid claim to, which is most of the garage and definitely the area around his room. But since they're going to the kitchen first, she'll have time to see that later. ]

It's totally possible. We could all end up here.

[tadeadshi]

[Mm. They could all end up here... Which wouldn't necessarily be a bad thing except that it's still not home. So even if they did all show up, it wouldn't stop him from his planning.

...Right, more important things in front of him. He makes sure he has Honey Lemon's tea mug in his good hand when he turns to set it on the table for her - see Hiro he's trying because you asked okay - and smiles.]

Could always check at the swear in if we don't see them anywhere else before that.

Fingers crossed. [ Because it would be wonderful to have the whole gang together, to experience this with each other. There's added danger, of course, and she would never wish harm on any of her friends, but, maybe, with their minds pulled together, they could figure out how to get everyone home.

She gives a quick 'thanks' as she graciously accepts the mug. The state Tadashi's other hand nabs her vision, and she makes a mental note to possibly ask about it later. ]

What's the swear in like, anyways?

It's uh...

[He thinks back to the last two swear ins he went to and he gets the feeling they were not the usual par for course. The first one, his, had been interrupted with a terrorist attack on another city they were called in to go help and that had been its own nightmare. Last month's had ended in an all out brawl he still didn't know what started it.

Yyyyyyeah.]

They're definitely something. They're nice, good way to see if you missed anyone that just got ported in if they haven't posted to the network. The first one I went to was pretty formal, but last month's was a little more laid back.

[microbrobotics]

[ Hiro just gives his bro a look. Like seriously, that's the best you could come up with? ]

And both ended horribly. Bad stuff happens at these a lot.

[SIIIIIGH]

I was trying to be optimistic here.

[But fine, fine, he'll just sit here and sip his tea with both hands. You see him using both hands little brother.]

Dude, one ended in a terrorist attack and the other had everyone breaking out into a fight. Pretty sure it's better to be warned ahead of time about that kind of thing.

[ Also, he's giving his brother the most disapproving look until he stops using that injured hand, dammit. ]

[He starts to say something right back but - Deep breath. It's fairly obvious to him Honey Lemon's from after the fire, which means she... probably would want to be warned about that kind of stuff, is the things Hiro's told him are anything to go by.

Keep giving that look, he's not stopping.]

Okay so - those things did happen. But I'm betting this month's will be a little more low key. And maybe nothing will happen!

Maybe.

[ Hiro's not going to hold his breath. He is, however, going to reach out and try to take that cup from Tadashi since glaring clearly isn't working. ]

[ The hesitance is a sure sign that he's definitely hiding something, and Hiro, naturally, confirms that. She listens quietly with a lopsided smile as they go back and forth. The whole ordeal sounds..not so fun. But she is relieved to be given some information beforehand.

At the last comment, she pipes in, attempting to sound hopeful and also trying alleviate the growing tension. ]

Something bad can't happen all the time!

[tadeadshi]

See? I'm not the only one thinking it - Hey!

[He hadn't really been paying much attention so he suddenly finds his hands void of tea mug. He makes a face at him, more in the eyes than anything else, then focuses back on Honey Lemon]

Everything else between those has been okay. Nothing too horrible.

[Hiro don't you dare ruin that statement.]

I got attacked by the tooth fairy and broke my arm, he got his slashed open by a mugger, and we both accidentally scrambled the ages of everyone in the city because an experiment went wrong.

... Also I'm nearsighted. I guess. That sucks.

[honeyxlemon]

What? [ Hold on, she needs to process this, and now she's intensely worried about these two. ]

Oh, my gosh, are you both okay? [ Clearly, at the moment, they are. But she means in general. ]

[tadeadshi]

[Thank you, Hiro. That's about all his short lived glare says before he nods.]

We're getting there. Still some stuff to work out.

Yeah, like his arm. Don't let him pick anything up with his bad one for a while.

[ Hey, he is not gonna hold back from Honey. Not when he's been superheroing by her side for a while by his perspective. ]

Is it really that bad? [ She abandons her mug at the table to head over to Tadashi's side. It's not as if she could offer any medical advice (his knowledge in that field is definitely beyond hers), but she still wants to see the damage. There's also still some disbelief over the fact that he actually got mugged. How horrible.

And did Hiro say tooth fairy before? And age swapping? The first thing she drew her attention to was the fact they both got hurt at some point. Now she's realizing that everything else he said is not something that would usually make sense. ]

[microbrobotics]

[ More like they tried to save someone else from a mugger and things went horribly wrong. But regardless. He takes a sip out of Tadashi's tea - make a face, he is definitely more of a coffee guy - and then shoves it back over to his brother. ]

We had to go to the emergency room. I drove and everything.

-- Uh, I was twenty at the time. And he was, like, twelve.

[ Way to leave that part out. Now she's thinking that someone attempted to mug a little kid. ]

Uh.. [ Bright side, Honey Lemon, bright side. ] I mean, you guys are safe now.

And I'm sure we can handle anything that comes our way, right?

[microbrobotics]

[ He's fully confident that they can, especially with his extra experience superheroing. Just ... well. ] Totally. But we gotta know what we're up against. It's crazy out there.

[tadeadshi]

[Yeah, sorry Honey, the truth is a much stupider story than you think. Tadashi let's her look at his wrist, simple bandage wrapped around his forearm to keep stitches in place, stopping just where his limiter wristband starts.]

We are definitely safe now. Promised to always look out for each other. There's a lot going on in this place to look out for.

[honeyxlemon]

We'll figure it out. [ With her spirit lifting again, she hooks an arm around Tadashi's, and leads him over to Hiro. She then promptly snakes her arm around Hiro's and pulls them both close to her side. ] Together!

[microbrobotics]

[ Okay, in this one instance? A group hug is pretty okay. He ducks his head and grins. ]

Yeah. Yeah, we could really get a team going.

[tadeadshi]

[Oh no OH NOOOOO GROUP HUGS, he loves group hugs. He gives them both a squeeze.]

I think we could! Got plenty of people here we're friends with that would work with us if we needed 'em.

[Even if that means telling Honey the plan they've got in the works. And he... really should talk to her alone about The Big Fiery Elephant in the Room.]

Woohoo! [ After the short embrace, she clasps her hands together and offers an enthusiastic nod.

And yes. About The Big Fiery Elephant. It's lingering in her mind, but she is extremely hesitant to mention anything about it. ]
