So, this is gonna sound kinda random, but. I've been wondering for a little while...what's New York like here? I just wanna know if it's anything like the New York from my world.

Actually, now that I think about it--how does the New York here compare to New York where you came from? If you've ever been there, I mean. 'Cause now I'm wondering about all the different versions of it we probably know.

The Ultimates back home were a pretty small group--only like five or six heroes, I think.

Unless you count SHIELD, then it's hundreds. Or thousands?

SHIELD has had its fingers in the Avengers back home, but they're generally mutually exclusive groups.

Huh. I think for us, SHIELD founded the Ultimates and still kinda runs 'em. Or at least works really closely with them.

[He's not really sure, honestly. He hasn't been an Ultimate for very long.]

That's how it is in another universe, too. [It sounds terrible.]

And SHIELD is nothing but trouble where I come from. Let's just say that they're involved in stuff they shouldn't be involved in.

Not ... particularly. They mostly just dabble in business that isn't theirs. You know, bringing in a shady bossy organization without scruples to handle stuff that should probably be handled on the up and up for once.

I guess we lucked out with Nick Fury. He runs SHIELD on my world, and he's always been really good about it.
