So, what kind of movies do you guys like? Back home, I mean. I know stuff is weird here and some movies don't exist, and they have stuff some of us don't have back home, so if there's any good universe-local movies I'm missing out on that only exist here, I could use some recs, too. Bonus points if there's any really good alternate universe versions of stuff I'd know from home. Negative points if it's propaganda crap, because there's enough of that on TV as it is.

[ He props up the thing he's working on to get at the bottom of it, and it looks like a projector. Wonder what that could be for! ]

And yeah, they totally do! At least, they do where I come from. I haven't looked into it here, and I don't have any idea how it works if you're in high school or something, but yeah, theoretically.

I'll learn anything useful, right? But the school thing isn't for me. Sides, like you mentioned before, propaganda would be an issue.

But then I don't see me as a scientist either. I like it, but I ain't gonna be creating the next big innovation or catastrophe.

Yeah, but it's easier if there's someone who understands it to help teach it to you. Pretty sure that's how school became a thing in the first place.

Maybe. But the last 'school' I was sent to was to learn about mayhem and villainy.

And before that I had a legit destiny, so there was that.

They do. They were kidnapping their students for it, but yeah.

Doesn't mean I don't want to learn stuff. Just don't want someone else tellin' me how.

Maybe get private lessons or somethin.

Or better, watch netflix all day. [Trying to bring some levity back to this.]
