Since it seems as though Kate Bishop has left us, I've gone ahead and drawn up a copy of her FAQ. You can now find it here. Considering she clearly put effort into making and keeping track of this, it's not something I'm prepared to let to go to waste. In the same vein as when she first shared this, if you think I left out something important, let me know so it can be added. Comments, questions, or remarks are welcome.

[Abrupt, sure. But Will thinks Miles and he have spoken enough, seen enough of each other by now for him to realize that it's not actually random, entirely unrelated. That there's a train of thought to tie back into all this, and Miles just has to answer yes or no to get there.]

[Encephalitis? That's sort of like meningitis, isn't it? He's going to take a moment to look it up, starting with the symptoms...

[He's not going to ask Will why he mentioned it. He can guess why he mentioned it. However, he doesn't quite grasp the connection, not yet. He expects Will to elaborate soon enough, though.]

I had it for an unusually long period of time back home. When I was framed, like I told you about. Part of the disease was influencing my memories. Resulted in me not being sure if I was hallucinating or things were actually happening.

[And then Hannibal Lecter was also amping that up and making it worse, but eh. Not the place.]

You don't have to keep adding on that you're not certain what all was real vs. imagined. I get it.

[So, he suffered hallucinations when he was accused? For a moment, Edgeworth wonders if Will ever thought that he actually did... no, no, he's not going down that train of thought. He knows where it's going to lead, and he does not have the time or the inclination to deal with that right now.]

My apologies. I still need some time to get my thoughts together, but I should be able to contribute what I know to the public soon. Then again, it may not be necessary; like you said, everyone is well aware of what sort of man he is now.

I wouldn't tell him that, if I were you. He talks about how what he's done has helped people, you'll notice. Letting him know you don't have to do further work for people to see that the man and the mask are one could easily be taken as him doing just that, and he may be sure to let you know.

[Guess who's not keen to give people more power than they already have, have taken, stolen without care or concern to anyone but themselves? Go figure.]

He's claimed his victory.
I'd advise against him giving him more, however small or large they might seem.

Did you know, or suspect, anything about Crane's true nature before he revealed himself?

[What he wants is confirmation. Confirmation that he wasn't an idiot for staying with Crane, that he wasn't a fool for ignoring or misinterpreting the warning signs. After all, Will used to track down men like this back home. If anyone would have noticed something was amiss, it would be him. And he wouldn't have recommended him if he knew something was wrong, would he?]

This seems a poor venue for such a conversation.

If you want to have it at all, I'd prefer to do it in person. Whenever is most convenient for you.

[Because it's not going to be pleasant, the least Will can do is give Miles the home advantage. Make it on his terms. Make it so if he gets fed up, he can kick Will out. He won't have to walk home with his thoughts roiling.

This is courteous, and fair. He wasn't either before, not really.]
