005 ♣ VIDEO ♠ Choice
[Ah, when was the last time he posted to this thing- it feels like ages, though it's only been a month or so, how interesting, time does fly here despite being dreadfully idle during a majority of it. And if he recalls, he wasn't even playing 'himself' really in his last message here, more just to pass the time. Of course this new post he plans will be nothing but nonsense--
or seem it anyway.]
[You can tell a lot about someone by what they have to say after all, especially during games.]
[The video shows what appear to be legs and feet. The camera stares down the legs of his white harem pants and shows his feet, crossed at the ankles up on some chair beside him, in atlantic blue high heels. Hisoka seems to be at some cafe, there's a rather pink looking tea cup at his side on a table.]
Let's play a game, shall we? I'm sure many of us looking at the network for now have nothing better to do. Have you ever played 'Would You Rather?' It relies on creativity and a degree of forethought. [And can be a lot more indepth and profound than one might think. Or so he hopes it will be.]
You create two situations and ask which someone would prefer. Shall I start? Perhaps something simple to get our feet wet.
[His legs uncross, and cross in the opposite way, a hand with bright, long, clawed nails appears and picks up the cup for a moment before setting it back down.]
Would you rather- to lose a hand forever or a foot forever?

it depends
why were they lost ?
Video
That's not really the point, say it's merely a choice you have, you must choose one. The choice isn't choose one of these or something else happens. It's merely a situation where these two options are the only ones you have.
Video
an arm
for a good reason . not for no reason
its not a game .
Video
[Hisoka smiles, chuckling to himself at the answer.]
Oh but this is a game. Though if you need a serious reason, it doesn't matter, as long as you make your choice.
So then. It's your turn.
Video
He doesn’t think he likes this game. ]
a choice for you
[ That’s right, isn’t it? He thinks about it. ]
you can go home to everyone you know
or bring all of them here . every one
which ?
no subject
Ah... [Hisoka pauses.]
[That question. His answer would have been easy had he been asked closer to his arrival. But now... Now he has things here he wouldn't want to change. But he liked his world better.]
Would I remember everything were I to go home? Or would it be as people say, would I lose what I've gained in this world?
[His tone is a little less playful as well. More blank, thoughtful if anything.]
no subject
you dont know
you have to decide without knowing
which ?
no subject
[A selfish answer. Should be expected from him though.]
no subject
so here is better than home
why ?
no subject
no subject
you can take everyone you like here back there
or bring everyone you like there here
which ?
no subject
Will I keep my memories? Will they? Should I bring those I have an interest in back home with me?
no subject
so do they .
bring whoever you like
no subject
no subject
ok
so home is not so bad .
no subject
no subject
i would bring them here .
[ Regardless of memories, or anything else. They'd thank him for it. It would be so much better than anything they left behind on that Train. ]
no subject
no subject
but i cant go home anyway
i would die
its not a choice .
[ Not the way it had been for Hisoka, anyway. He’d been interested in what it was like to have that choice, because he doesn’t have it himself. ]

[ Grey considers. ]
both
the porter brought me back . that is not sad
[ It’s a matter of perspective, really. Even if he didn’t die, he probably still wouldn’t want to go back. Not unless certain others would avoid dying, too. ]

He is about to say so, and then he thinks back on that moment. The knife being driven slowly in, knowing that everything was ending. Knowing that he had done his best, and there was no more fight to be had. He would make the same choices now that he had then.
But he also has more to live for, now. ]
it feels better than dying
[ That much is true, and is easy to say. Less complicated than everything going through his head. ]
id rather be here than nowhere
id rather be here than home
[ He sends that, and then hesitates, his eyes stuck on the words. Then he adds: ]
its just people that i miss
no subject
[Not that he did either, but it was an interesting thing to ask. And he knew others would accept death more than life- though those types he had no interest at all. The dead.]
None of those people are here? Some of us are rather lucky. Surely you've made some connections here since arriving? Or is making friends difficult for you?
no subject
If there is any after life, surely it's here? This is where he's come after he died. He doesn't remember anything else. ]
this is after life . i believe in this
i miss people from the train
there are others here
i have friends . they are good people
that wasnt difficult .
