[Ah, when was the last time he posted to this thing- it feels like ages, though it's only been a month or so, how interesting, time does fly here despite being dreadfully idle during a majority of it. And if he recalls, he wasn't even playing 'himself' really in his last message here, more just to pass the time. Of course this new post he plans will be nothing but nonsense--

Let's play a game, shall we? I'm sure many of us looking at the network for now have nothing better to do. Have you ever played 'Would You Rather?' It relies on creativity and a degree of forethought. [And can be a lot more indepth and profound than one might think. Or so he hopes it will be.]

You create two situations and ask which someone would prefer. Shall I start? Perhaps something simple to get our feet wet.

[His legs uncross, and cross in the opposite way, a hand with bright, long, clawed nails appears and picks up the cup for a moment before setting it back down.]

Your life and death, you take your role so seriously. Does your title define you, you do you define it though, I wonder.

[It's quite simple, Cu's reasoning. And makes it seem like being a warrior is all he is. Hisoka can relate to a degree, but his 'role' is hardly so noble.]

'Roles' and 'titles' makes it sound like I was slotted into a position or something. I just am a warrior because I enjoy fighting. Being good at it is a nice bonus.

[Not trying to complicate matters or be evasive. But being defined in too few words is bad for the ego.]

And naw, I leave exaggeration to story tellers. What's the sense in being proud of your own abilities if they're a lie?

I just want to be me, and do what comes natural.. If titles and accolades should be valued, its when they're gained for being good at what you like doing. Otherwise they're hollow. But sorry yeah, didn't mean to sound my own horn. Just wanted to answer your questions.

If you... had to choose between permanently losing your ability to fight but being remembered for all time as the best (or otherwise being feared and/or reveared), or being the best but nobody will remember you-

Hmm... That's a rather easy one, at first glance.

Were I to be remembered, what use would it be if I still could not fight? And should I be the best, then no one would ever surprise anymore. It would make what fighting is no longer as enjoyable, it would remove the thrill.

Both have more bad than good. Ah, I suppose I'd pick the second one then, if only to still be able to fight.

Eh, there's nothing I really want that I don't have now, or can't get anytime. Aside from a few sentimental things, but I can live without them. It'd make more sense if someone else who has more desires got their wishes fufilled instead.

Heh, that sounds like a whole lotta asking two questions in a row. [If there were points to this game, the looks on his face might make you think he'd just scored one.]

Although I'll answer anyways: Probably not. As I said, it's the process that makes an achievement worth while. Can't really claim a charitable spirit if I refuse something that holds no value to me.

I agree though, as it was about fighting, working for things make them so much more worth while anyway.

Alrighty then... [Several questions come and go as Cu considers. Even with how little he knows of Hisoka, questions about Honor and RIghtious behavior seem like they'd fall flat. Athough they could still be insightful to a point...

Lets get a bit more imaginative. You're the son of a recently deceased king. And you and your two brothers are fighitng for the crown. However, one of your brother's lands have fallen under siege of completely evil invaders.

This means that brother is virtually out of the fight, leaving you open to fight your other brother. However, it seems like these invaders will win, and later press into your kingdom regardless of who is king. Leaving untold bloodshed and carnage in their wake.

Do you leave your brother to fight the invaders and focus on seizing the crown? Or do you abandon your defenses against your brother to help against the invaders?

Keeping in mind that the brother you save will have no forces to assist you against your other brother should you repel the invaders by the time the invaders are defeated.

[Um, this game is full of winners, everyone gets to ask questions and learn more, isn't that nice? Or did someone here need a medal? Wasn't Cu just talking about how he liked the act of doing something not the praise? Desiring a 'win' spoke to the opposite mindset.]

I'd fight the invaders. [Without a hitch.]

Though- these are my only options then, assist my first brother with his issue, or continue my feud for the crown? If so, I wouldn't bother with the crown at all. Though it really would depend on one question-

What are my brother's like?

Well the point of the question is one of tactics. If you HAVE to be king and all. If that's how you WON this scenario. But I suppose don't value it then it doesn't matter. Because if that was the case, you wouldn't be fighting for it in the first place.
