005 ♣ VIDEO ♠ Choice
[Ah, when was the last time he posted to this thing- it feels like ages, though it's only been a month or so, how interesting, time does fly here despite being dreadfully idle during a majority of it. And if he recalls, he wasn't even playing 'himself' really in his last message here, more just to pass the time. Of course this new post he plans will be nothing but nonsense--
or seem it anyway.]
[You can tell a lot about someone by what they have to say after all, especially during games.]
[The video shows what appear to be legs and feet. The camera stares down the legs of his white harem pants and shows his feet, crossed at the ankles up on some chair beside him, in atlantic blue high heels. Hisoka seems to be at some cafe, there's a rather pink looking tea cup at his side on a table.]
Let's play a game, shall we? I'm sure many of us looking at the network for now have nothing better to do. Have you ever played 'Would You Rather?' It relies on creativity and a degree of forethought. [And can be a lot more indepth and profound than one might think. Or so he hopes it will be.]
You create two situations and ask which someone would prefer. Shall I start? Perhaps something simple to get our feet wet.
[His legs uncross, and cross in the opposite way, a hand with bright, long, clawed nails appears and picks up the cup for a moment before setting it back down.]
Would you rather- to lose a hand forever or a foot forever?

[Unintentionally answering his own question?]
There's nothin' a man can't do with one hand that's worth his mobility.
voice
[Wow.]
Besides. I can get someone to make a foot that'll work just fine. A hand to grip my weapon? Good luck findin' somethin' that works just as good as the real thing!
no subject
[A slight pause, then said with mirth.]
Also fuck you.
no subject
[He chuckles.]
Aww, that's not nice.

Also I wouldn't let you off yourself. So y'lost there.
no subject
Besides, the porter gave me this hand. So same result, different process.
no subject
...That seems like cheatin'.

...Besides. I can throw a spear with my foot.
[True story.]
voice
[A brow raise, ah huh.]
With your foot? How entertaining, very far? Or is it merely a parlor trick?
no subject
[Such Sage. Much wise.]
Nope. It was my strongest attack back in my original life. Could launch a spear as far as the eye could see with enough force to nail a man to the floor.
[Or... hitch him up like a shish kabob... which he did too. But he's not proud of THAT story.]
no subject
[It's quite simple, Cu's reasoning. And makes it seem like being a warrior is all he is. Hisoka can relate to a degree, but his 'role' is hardly so noble.]
Oh, scary. Are you teasing me now? If never been so interested in feet before.
no subject
[Not trying to complicate matters or be evasive. But being defined in too few words is bad for the ego.]
And naw, I leave exaggeration to story tellers. What's the sense in being proud of your own abilities if they're a lie?
no subject
There isn't any. I agree.
Are you going to play this game with me though? Not that I mind listening to you talk about yourself~
no subject
I did sorta jump into your affair, I suppose it's only right I play along. Hmmm... lets see...
If you... had to choose between permanently losing your ability to fight but being remembered for all time as the best (or otherwise being feared and/or reveared), or being the best but nobody will remember you-
Which would you choose?
no subject
Hmm... That's a rather easy one, at first glance.
Were I to be remembered, what use would it be if I still could not fight? And should I be the best, then no one would ever surprise anymore. It would make what fighting is no longer as enjoyable, it would remove the thrill.
Both have more bad than good. Ah, I suppose I'd pick the second one then, if only to still be able to fight.
no subject
[He'll give a little shrug, not seeming to mind. Which he honestly doesn't when it comes to talking about himself.]
Hoo? So you fight for the enjoyment of it, not for praise. I can honestly say I share that way of thinking.
So, I suppose it's your turn now.
no subject
Let's see.
Would rather have everything you could ever want, or give everything someone wants to them?
no subject
Yeah. Unless you get there through your own efforts. But then, it's the act that's fun, not the titles.
Eh, there's nothing I really want that I don't have now, or can't get anytime. Aside from a few sentimental things, but I can live without them. It'd make more sense if someone else who has more desires got their wishes fufilled instead.
