This is, of course, one Kitty Jones, living up to her name. ]

Hullo, all. Happy - slightly belated - Earth Day. I hadn't known about that holiday last year, so I didn't do a thing for it, but it's really a lovely thing, isn't it? So, a day, late, I'm doing a little charity drive, and I need all of you to participate. Proceeds going to the protection of the leaf-scaled sea snake, because no one ever bloody donates money to help species that aren't cute.

[ The leaf-scaled sea snake is also quite venomous. Y'know. Whatever. ]

So what this consists of is this. I want you to volunteer here, in this post, to answer questions from fans on rumblr. Give me a list of topics you're not willing to talk about, as well as how many questions you're willing to answer. Then your rumblr fans - or enemies, I suppose, maybe some of them will want to trap you in a lie or something - will bid on the opportunity to ask you questions. Whichever fan puts in the highest bid gets the right to ask the first question, then the second-highest bid gets second question, all down until you don't want to answer any more stupid questions. And then all the proceeds go to the sea snakes.

So who's in? Talk about yourself, help the environment. What's not to like?

[ That's all said very, very cheerfully. Then, in a flippant post-script, she adds: ]

[ Which is so nice! so kind! such a good way to announce that! a month and a half after she already came back from the dead! nice. ]

Brilliant. Well, you need to tell me, too - topics that are off-limits, the number of questions you want.

For the number of questions - I think about seven to ten would be good. If you offer to answer a hundred, then your fans will all just bid five dollars 'cause they know they'll get a shot. But ten, the pressure will be on.

...I'll go with seven, then. A hundred is just twenty questions times five, and that's far too many for me. [A light chuckle.] Oh, actually! I know: I'd rather not field questions clarifying my powers. It's more fun leaving it up to the imagination.

Yeah, I think so! [There's a sort of thrill that comes from opening the rumblr floodgates...]

Ah, well... Everyone, huh... [Contemplating... for a bit.] Okay, I believe there's at least one "true love" match out there for anyone who really wants one, but it might take the stars aligning before people find their matches...

[A pause.] —Does that count as a proper answer?

[ A laugh - ]

I'd say so, yeah. Are you okay with me posting the video of you answering, or would you like it to just be typed up?

I'm doing great, actually! [He's never sounded so enthused before.] This whole month has simply been amazing, absolutely wonderful.

What about you, Kitty? How have you been faring since our last sit-down?

[ With a little laugh - ]

Quite fine. Goodness, that's rather more enthusiasm than I'd expected.

[hisheartsdesire]

[A pleased little laugh, and then there's a smile in his voice as he continues.] Took you off-guard, did it?

I guess I can't help it, what with FanPort only some time ago and now actually thinking about and planning for the wedding. [He takes a deep breath and sighs blissfully.] It's great, really.

[rathercommon]

[ Uh - ]

Hold on. Wedding?

[hisheartsdesire]

[Slightly bashful.] It's not taking place this month, but that it's seriously happening at all is exciting!

[rathercommon]

Hold on, who's getting married, though? Not you and...

[hisheartsdesire]

[Answering at the same time as Kitty says not him and...]

Dorian and me, of course. I... proposed to him during FanPort, and he accepted. [He's beaming, can't you hear him beaming on voice? Because he is.]

[rathercommon]

Ohhhh. [ She tries her best to muster enthusiasm as she says: ] Yaaaay.

[hisheartsdesire]

[He laughs, and his voice softens.] It's all right, Kitty. You don't have to pretend to be happy when you're not feeling it.

[rathercommon]

No! It's brilliant. Yay, marriage. Marriage is really -

[ Urgh. Two things she hates: Dorian Gray and the institution of marriage. ]

Great.

Well, that isn't very convincing. Anyway, are there any other questions coming in?

[Because they don't really have to keep on talking about marriage or Dorian Gray if Kitty isn't feeling up to it. And she seriously doesn't seem keen on it.]

Erm - yeah. Right.

Okay. 'Tell us about your childhood.'

Hmm, well. I grew up back in Whitby in the seventeen-hundreds, the early Georgian era. I was from a family of wealth and standing. But my father left when I was still young, and my mother kept me close because she didn't want to lose me, too. Though really, it weren't like I was going to leave. [He's not like his father...]

My mother forbade many things because maintaining our position was also very important, and I felt so trapped sometimes. [A wry but amused laugh as he continues,] Naturally, I broke the rules and sneaked out time and again, just to see and experience new and different things. Because I couldn't help my curiosity. I guess it was normal for the time, it was all right.
