[ The video clicks on to Freddie, frowning at the camera, still dressed for winter, black beanie hat perched on her head. Frown on her face, she gives the camera a small nod, trying not to show just how freaked out she is.

I've just got two questions. [ for now, at least. ] One, what's this nonsense about super powers? And two... [ now her expression changes to something that's purely 'I can't believe this shit.' ] who knows anything about dogs?

Well that's ridiculous. Super powers don't exist. [ At least, they didn't exist in her world and she's sticking to that story. ]

And, considering that this place gave me a job writing about them, anything and everything.

[ There's a pause while Freddie rummages in her purse, pulls out the file they gave her, and starts to read it again. Her eyes light up, small little smirk on her face as she reads her powers. ] Apparently I've got three--with varying degrees of 'lame.'

What's Will's last name? I can't just ask on this thing for 'Will' now, can I.

Everyone here has powers - but they took some of mine away. I don't really know if it's like that for everybody else.

Also, the dogs here can't talk, can't stretch, and aren't magic. It's really weird.

[This is going to start as voice, because Will's doing a couple of things he thinks Freddie Lounds might not appreciate seeing. There's the sound of crickets chirping, loud enough to make it obvious they're near the communicator. Something...squishy...even closer is moving. No, being moved, the occasional knock of hands against glass and a bump of an arm against something firm giving that much away.]

Why can't you just ask on this thing for Will? Common name. Sure loves dogs, prrrrobably more than people would be enough to narrow it down.

[Yes he's looked, of course he's looked. While his quoting Skye doesn't come out in her voice, it comes out in her cadence, her timbre. No attempt to raise a few octaves, just a manipulation of his own.]

Narrow it down now?

[He isn't happy she's here (as if he's ever that happy). Not in the slightest. It would be stupid to ignore her just for that, all things considered.

[ It's telling that Freddie is a lot more comfortable talking to Will over fake-Skype than she would be in person. Needless to say, she still gives the camera a steely glare because fuck you, Will. ]
