( guess who's back, back again? here she is, the grumpy savior, and... unbelievably, she's doing kind of okay. not, you know, great... but kind of okay.

she comes as a woman on a mission, though... however embarrassing it is. )

easy to pick up hobbies that you do with your hands, and go

sidebar: does anyone want a dreamcatcher? because I've got a lot of dreamcatchers.

( no seriously. a lot of dreamcatchers. she can get about an hour of sleep a night on a good night, so far, and the rest of her nights are spent failing at crafting and making dreamcatchers. )

( for what it is worth, Emma would automatically equate personal experiences to one world and not necessarily every. she was used to different timelines and worlds before she even got here. she knows quite well that the fate of one doesn't necessarily reflect the fate of the next. )

must be a lot to get used to, huh? do you like the change so far?

I was planning on going somewhere that's supposed to have some rudimentary rebuilding and running water and things (it's where everyone gets their guns from) which would have been nice but this is much better, honestly.

( it's also not uncomplicated - she feels a sense of responsibility to her home that luxuriating in baths that she can just run for herself with no one else involved does not do much to help. but that's a conversation for another day. )

( in a sense, Emma isn't so different. technically, things are better for her here. the curse clings less, she's freed from voices and has access to friends she didn't have stranded in Camelot. even still, she can't help herself; she wants to go home. she's never going to break this curse without her family, and that requires being with them and not in an alternate version of Florida. )

( she probably will. margaux is not someone who makes offers to be polite, and has a tendency to accept even things people probably expected or hoped she would understand the social contract expects her to decline - she has a number of people who've offered her help, but why limit herself to only a few perspectives if she can get more? )

( Emma is the opposite of Margaux, she tends to not ask for help unless she's possibly dying and maybe not even then. still, her parents have reinforced and reinforced and reinforced again that it's okay for her to need people. she's trying to remember, when she's off on her own all over again. )
