( guess who's back, back again? here she is, the grumpy savior, and... unbelievably, she's doing kind of okay. not, you know, great... but kind of okay.

she comes as a woman on a mission, though... however embarrassing it is. )

sidebar: does anyone want a dreamcatcher? because I've got a lot of dreamcatchers.

( no seriously. a lot of dreamcatchers. she can get about an hour of sleep a night on a good night, so far, and the rest of her nights are spent failing at crafting and making dreamcatchers. )

paper quilling? I'm honestly not sure what that is. but time isn't really an issue, I've got plenty to spare.

yes. there's ways of enchanting them, but they aren't, for the record.

It's a kind of art where you wrap long strips of paper around, for example, a pencil, and then add a lot of those little bits together to make a picture of some kind.

[She sends some links for Emma to look at, then continues.]

that's ... really nice. how did you learn to do that, is it hard to pick up?

sure. go for it. take a couple, you'd be helping me out at this point. I make two or three a night and that stacks up quick.

There was a beginner's kit at the art store I like to go to, and the guidebook it came with was helpful. It wasn't hard to figure out, but I think it's also an art that you can experiment with. Just the slightest change in how you bend or fold the paper makes a difference!

Where can I pick them up? And is making dreamcatchers hard to do? I'd like to try one day for myself.

I'll look into it. easy to pick up is important, I'm not the most talented with my hands.

it's pretty simple, if you ask me. once you get used to it you can make the web more complicated, and practice makes perfect, but... it's not difficult, no.

as for where: I work at Princess Party Events in Heropa. I've been sending people there.

( and true to her promise, when the receptionist mention a girl is there to see her, Emma does emerge from her office. she clashes so terribly with the pretty pink and elaborate decor, it's clear that she doesn't spend too much time on the floor. )

Come on, they threw me in the back. It's Naminè, right? ( Emma hadn't recognized her over text but she certainly does in person. it'd be awkward, if she had any inclination to let it be, and she doesn't. instead she heads back towards her office, and the pile of dreamcatchers that await. )

Yes, that's me. It's nice to see you again.

[Naminé does her best to match Emma's friendly greeting with a hesitant smile of her own. And then she sees the dreamcatchers and her whole expression brightens.]

Oh, these are beautiful!

( Emma inclines her head in a nod, a silent sort of agreement. it's nice to see you again, too. as for the dreamcatchers, she suffices a slight smile and shrugs. )

I am sure they could be worse. ( this is Emma Swan for thank you. ) See one you like?

[Naminé's hand almost immediately shoots out after the question is asked to rest on two that look similar.]

[She lifts them up, flips one, and then holds them together to make them look like a dreamcatcher owl.]

Cute, ( Emma decides, with a quirk of a smile. she'd never have imagined making a dreamcatcher animal, but it certainly is charming. )

Thank you very much! [She carefully tucks them into her bag and then pulls out a small card with paper quill art of a bird sitting on a flower on the front.]

( something for her? well, she wasn't expecting that. she lifts her eyebrows but steps forward to accept it, quirking a smile. )

You didn't have to get me anything. Trust me, you're doing me the favor, not the other way around.

( but, for the record, she takes the card anyway. )

I wanted to! I thought it would be a good example, since you sounded interested in paper quilling.

( she fingers the delicate paper decoration, more than a little impressed. seeing it in person, it seems too delicate for her ox like personality, but she still intends to give it a try. )

It looks like you've been doing this for awhile. I would have guessed you'd bought this if I didn't know better.

In reality, I only started a few weeks ago. I think it's more a testament to how easy it is, and how much freedom you have with the process.

If you decide to try it, I'd love to see what you end up making.

I don't promise anything that looks like this, but I'll see what I can do.

( she does have a lot of time to practice, so she might be able to pick it up if she works at it. )
