So...The days are short, the air is cold (except in Heropa), and all of us are struggling with lingering embarrassment from all those mis-sent texts. So, to give us all a bit of cheer, and in recognition of all the holidays we've constructed to help us deal with winter, I thought we all could give one another a bit of love.

So! How does this work, then? Well -

1. Go ahead and post your name in this post.
2. People respond to you with things they like about you, lovely moments you've shared, et cetera.
3. You go out and respond to others with things you like about them.
4. NO BEING AWFUL. Do NOT give backhanded compliments or secretly troll people or things like that. The point of this is to be good to one another. Go be good to one another!

Why does everyone try to make it sound like that's difficult to do? Are devils suddenly being known for their good humor?

Nothing! I just took a magical seal off someone he put one on. Mostly unwillingly! It's a lot to hold against a person for no good reason.

As you said, he's the devil. Not particularly forthright when it comes to excuses, I would imagine.

So what, was the magical seal giving someone neverending herpes or something?

Aren't those neverending to begin with?

But no, it more tethered the person to him. Made it easier for him to track them and such, and know what was happening to them. Like a magical leash.

I mean, I suppose that depends. I should have said neverending painful herpes. Usually it's pretty damn benign. Syphilis would probably be a better example.

So let me get this straight: you saw this clearly malevolent spell on someone, removed it from them, and expected what exactly?

And I see what you're trying to do, don't think I don't. I got swept up in circumstance, it wasn't my fault. What I expected was to be able to flee several hundred miles away and be well out of reach by the time an angry angel found out about it. Obviously that didn't work out.

Anyway, it's all old news now. Over with. And may Lucifer never darken the Porter's fickle doorway again.

I'm trying to understand what happened, so long as we're talking about the literal devil in our midst. Gone or not, he has the capacity to come back.

What exactly would I gain from baiting you?
