Hey, everybody. It's been... a week, that's for sure. For some, worse than others. [ Kanan got it pretty bad, guys. PRETTY BAD. ] Given how rough this week has been for some people, I thought I'd offer to share some basic meditation exercises, if anyone is interested. I'll be at NeoJedha in Maurtia Falls this afternoon. If there's enough interest, maybe we can make it into a regular thing - classes, or something. Meditation is a good way to focus your thoughts and relieve stress.

In other news, some of you may have listened to the first episode of my podcast, and with recent... talk, there seems to be some questions, or confusion, going around about Jedi and what we are. To try and clear some of this up, the next episode of my podcast is going to feature a special guest, Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi. We might talk about some... heavy stuff, but hopefully we can get a dialogue going. And if you have any questions for me or Master Kenobi, you can direct them to me, and we'll try to answer them for you.

Also, I can't believe you actually have these here. In my world they're called meilooruns, but here I guess they're... kiwano? Anyway, this world has some pretty great food - pizza is amazing - but it's nice to find something familiar from home, too. Hera's day got made.

Meditation sounds good. I have a feeling most people here could use more ways to manage mental health.

There are definitely a lot of... tensions around here. I think nearly everyone could benefit from some basic meditation. Even if you're not Force-sensitive, it can do a lot of good to just... be, sometimes.

—especially brought out of the context it was (for most of us) meant to address

Hey there. That's a pretty easy one to answer, because protecting innocents is the greater good. That's what we're called to do, as Jedi. The Force has granted us these gifts, these abilities. In my world, Force-sensitives can do things other people can't. And so it's our job to protect those who can't protect themselves.

Does meditation work for any kind of stress?

It should. It's really all about letting go of your worldly concerns and opening yourself up to the wider universe. A mental exercise as much as anything. It can give you better perspective on stuff that's stressing you out. If I've got a problem I'm having trouble solving, for instance, sometimes meditation will help - the answer will come to me while I'm focused on something else, you know?

[ Some of that is the Force, for him, but the basic idea works for anyone, whether they can tap into the Force or not. ]

For me it does, yes. But you don't have to be Force-sensitive to do it.
