Oh, it's okay to swear here, sir! Nobody will scold you for it, and 'bullshit' is pretty mild for a swear, anyway. I'd say this is more like a demiplane or a pocket dimension situation rather than a purgatory, though. That implies some kind of intent behind the selection of people, and it's been pretty randomized, so far.
