From what I've observed of your fiction, humans put aliens into two categories. Either they are violent invaders or they are so superior and intelligent that all of their tech is way beyond your human brains and it makes Earth look low and aggressive in comparison. Either way, somebody is blasting the other.
Is this what the majority of you believe about us?
Yes, some of you would have clearly noticed that I'm not human and not hiding that fact is sometimes a risky proposition. Case in point... what I already said.
Not every alien fits into those two boxes.
Personally, what are your views about aliens?

[Closer, his eyes are very vivid and red. No pupils to be seen. No obvious nose and blue skin. He very much looks like a typical alien - aside from the cowboy hat.]

I'm curious to learn more about them! Nonhumans are present in my home, but they relentlessly devour humans and speech seems impossible for them. I'm pleased to meet nonhumans that I can communicate with, who are more interested in talking than eating me.

So you've been seeing that stuff too? Have you seen the fanart people do? Of your normal self but what they think a humanised version of you should look like? It's weird.

They make artwork of imPorts?
And oh boy, they make all sorts of stuff to do about us. They drew me as a short human with white hear wearing a medical mask. I guess because I have no mouth normally? Try look it up if you want to be weirded out by humans more.

Rather than it being something they believe about you, it's something they believe humans would do and thus the stories are written in such ways.

And sometimes, they just want an excuse to write an action book without having to make target of other humans because that has been rather overused.

I have noticed those tropes exist here, too, though, and we didn't invade in this universe.
Video
And that result most often is either universal peace in which the humans need to step in line or be destroyed. Or total annihilation without warning.
Video
I mean, even with my people, we're individuals. Not all reptilians want to invade, myself included, and some of us are trying to fight back against the invasion. Which shows a side of things I don't really see in a lot of their invasion movies.

[ Adachi shrugged. ]
After being here, aliens, monsters, demons, whatever; they're all just people that look different.
From all of that, it appears most humans don't believe much in alien individuality.
Everyone's different in their own way. Aliens don't need to be around to prove that.
video
Judging things for what or who they are is stupid, so my view on aliens is not different than any standards I would hold any other being to.

[In fact, he rarely hides it. He was just stating the obvious before others could point it out.]
I haven't had too much direct trouble here but their films still depict a very narrow view of aliens.
