[ it sounds like Akito for those familiar with his voice - still light and feminine to a fault - but it sounds much more confident than usual. and while the facial features haven't changed it's still quite hard to tell it's Akito with his hair shifted to look like his father's, and an eye colour to match Kaito's icy blue.

with his posture and overall demeanor one of self-assurance and his voice confident and playful, he seems like an entirely different person. which is exactly what Akito wants - the ultimate anonymity within the limitations of his skills. thus, the current test of how well it works... ]


What is the one thing you would like to change most about yourself? Would you be taller? Better at algebra? More capable of taking charge? A kinder person? Why is it something you want to change?

But to make it more of a challenge, here's rule number one - you can't be negative about yourself! You don't have to dislike yourself for there to be something you want to change. Nobody's perfect, after all!

And now, even more fun... What is the one thing you never want to change about yourself?

I'll go first!

For me, I want to get better at making friends! Why? Because the friendships I have are what changed my life for the better, and I want to be able to make more friends of my own initiative. Maybe even save someone's life with my friendship like they saved me with theirs.

The thing I never want to change is how my heart goes dokun dokun when I see the person I like. Even if nothing happens, I love this feeling too much to ever want it to disappear!

THE MAJORITY REPORT: JANUARY 10TH, 2016

GOOD TO BE SELFLESS
As seen initially on all major news networks, then on the RSS feeds of news sites:
The gala event of the season was sixty-five million years in the making. Sorry, that's 3.5 billion. The history of life on Earth was on display at De Chima, featuring appearances by some of prehistory's most famous faces. But it was a real, baby T. rex that stole the show, and the hearts of those present. Funds raised by the event benefitted SELF, a new organization providing help to non-humans.

Do you follow Agito and Hiro? Do you like twenty-four hours GAMING LIVESTREAMS? DO YOU SUPPORT CHARITY? Then good news! Agito and Hiro, technologically savvy imPorts, have already played to fundraise (a la Extra Life) on the 1st to raise money for the Heropa Health Clinic.

WELCOME TO THE JUNGLE
As seen on reporting from national news television, international news cycles, newsprint, amateur BlueTube videos mostly of the green fog descending, botanists discussing the jungle that had replaced Heropa:
Crisis had struck dear Heropa on the day of January 2nd 2016. We thought we could at least have some relative peace in the new year but it only took one day before an incident struck. On the 2nd imPorts were alerted to another imPort causing trouble. What appeared to be a criminal running a rampage turned far worse. A heavy green fog would roll in that day and consume all of Heropa. Many of the citizens and some of the local imPorts were lost inside the fog but the fog was not the only unwelcoming and ominous thing that took place.

When the fog lifted Heropa no longer stood the marvel that we all knew. Instead a jungle took it's place and one can only describe it as a frightening sight. Clearly the work of an imPort had been at hand. Only but a few hours later did we receive a video that revealed the cause of the jungle landscape, one that we dare not show. In short, it had turned out that someone we thought a hero was merely wearing a mask to hide darker intentions. Many would know him as a sprightly character from fiction, one we all grew up with and loved, but instead has proven to be more sinister than we realized. His name, is Peter Pan.

Many imPorts gathered to the edge of the Jungle to thwart whatever spell he had cast and didn't return for four days. On the sixth of January on lookers outside of what could be considered Peter Pan's twisted Neverland saw a golden light spread out from the center of the jungle and like it had never happened, Heropa stood once more.

The locals who had been trapped in Neverland had this to say. "We were trapped, not just inside there but in our own heads. We didn't remember anything about ourselves, but this warped nightmare we were made to think we lived. I don't remember much of it but it was just horrible. The things I saw, the things I did..."
More people commented that it was like some mass brainwashing, that made them do Pan's bidding or worse: be his play things for his brainwashed mass. It can only be described as insidious. Formerly cursed witnesses had said some people had actually died inside the jungle, though the proof of that is still unclear. Ongoing investigations are looking into finding some of the missing people that were inside Pan's Neverland.

In related news, officials believe that in a string of kidnappings that have happened in Maurtia Falls was done by none other than Pan himself. Care takers of some of these children often commented that before the victim was taken they would often speak of a figure playing pan pipes, something that Peter himself is known for. There is no trace of these missing children yet but we are assured that they will be looking into this.

We are still looking from comments from the brave imPorts who thwarted such an evil but we remain here to ask; Where is Peter Pan now? Is he alive? Do we have to fear another curse?

The girl that Moscow claimed to be Lachesis is now missing.

OUT OF YOUR MIND
As seen in the 24-hour national news cycle:
Moscow has been issuing threats against imPorts. They claim that unnamed imPorts have made attempts against the native human they claim to be Lachesis, and now they have finally succeeded in their plot. The Secretary of State to the US has issued this statement: "Moscow does not have Lachesis, and our imPorts have made no move against this fable. This is but base propaganda intended to spark tension."

But word from Moscow is adamant. ImPorts will pay.

[Heiji's wearing his uniform, posting this officially as an officer of Maurtia Falls. His expression is serious. He's been gone for two months and a lot has seemed to change, but in light of the latest Majority Report he wants to take action now.]

Good afternoon.

It's been a rough few days for a lot've people, and a rougher week for others. According to th' news there are still people missin' from Heropa, and kids from Maurtia Falls. These people either need t'be found or at least discovered what happened to 'em so their families an' friends can have some closure.

It ain't gonna be easy, but I'd like volunteers to help identify the victims an' make a list of who never came home. If ye've got coworkers who're worried, or regular customers, or just that guy ya see at the bus stop every morning. Any way you can get information'd be a great help.

We should do our part t'make sure these people don't fall through the cracks as we recover from what Pan did.

Hello, everyone! My name is Alison Hendrix and I am apparently the newest member of this “import” population. I just thought I’d introduce myself and say how much I am looking forward to meeting you all, especially those of you in Heropa 31!

[She pauses for a second to quickly glance down at her cue cards before clearing her throat again.]

I've been assigned the role of "Event Planner", so I would like to announce the opening of Every Last Detail Event Planning. Since the government apparently believes in my ability to build a business from the ground up with only the bare minimum, I would love to reach out to the community to make any industry contacts that might prove to be mutually beneficial.

[There's an edge of bitterness to her tone when she mentions the government, because these people clearly have no idea about the amount of work it's going to take to get something like this running.]

[ It's winter, and he hasn't stoked the fire in the office for quite some time, so Athos is in full Musketeer garb when he addresses the network. His hat thankfully hides most of the circles under his eyes by providing shadow, but there's no mistaking the seriousness of his face, nor of his tone. ]

Recent events, and the influx of new imPorts, has lead me to believe it is about time I spoke with you once more. [ And he hates talking with anyone, so it must be serious. ] For those who do not know, my name is Athos and I am Captain of the Muskeeters. There is a Regiment here that is at your disposal.

[ His device is rested against some paperwork so his hands are free to steeple in front of him. ]

The services we provide include a personal guard. In times such as these we will be devoting all our energy to keep the citizens safe. [Poor Leon had gone to his first day of work, despite being rather dubious about the whole thing. A "party prince"? Leon hated parties, and it sounded like this was a thing you did for kids, too. Even worse. When he arrived at work, his misgivings were almost immediately proven true, since the kids were ... well, kids, and way too hyperactive and attentive for Leon.

He pulls out his communicator when he thinks he has a break— but he only gets out half of his message—]

[She doesn't want to do this, but she has to. It's been long enough.

Euphie visibly composes herself before facing the camera.] ...hello, everyone. My name is Euphemia li Britannia.

Last month, I... seem to have lost control of myself and my own actions. I became violent, I am told, and attacked anyone who seemed to have been of Japanese descent. I only know what I've been told, for I have no memory of the week in which this occurred.

Regardless, my actions are mine and I was-- I am appalled by them. I do not know how I can possibly apologize for them, let alone offer recompense for whatever pain or injury I have caused, but I am sorry. [Her voice breaks, slightly, before she catches herself.] I am woefully and terribly sorry for... for everything.

I don't know why it happened. I would have never-- it would have been unthinkable for me to act like that. I'm looking for help, for someone who can help me figure out why I acted in such a manner.
