[ As soon as the video feed begins, there is a face that is, perhaps, just a bit too close to the screen. ]

Ooh-! It's working!

[ And then she backs up, eyes brightened and a broad smile stretching from ear to ear. ]

Oh, my gosh! I can't believe that this is actually happening! Superpowers! An alternate universe!! Can you [ you being directed towards nobody in particular ] imagine the possibilities?

[ She spreads one of her arms out and upwards (quite dramatically), the motion causing her glasses to slide down the bridge of her nose. She pauses for a moment, and, afterwards, promptly straightens herself, her forefinger pushing her glasses right back up.

Maybe she got a little too excited for a second there. ]

Anyways, I should probably introduce myself! My friends call me Honey Lemon, and I look forward to spending some time here with everyone!

[ Assuming that this is just a new friend of his, she can't help but think over how great it is that he's opening up socially. ]

[ After waving very excitedly, the feed ends. ]

[ The chemistry nerd he's referring to actually is a new friend, or at least a friendly coworker, but for now, there's someone more important he wants her to meet. True to his word, he gets the garage door open first. Inside is an utter mess of projects, half-built machines, armor pieces ... So, basically, exactly like the Hamada garage before.

While he's waiting for Honey to walk over, he shoots his brother a text: hey come down to the garage. i think i busted something. That ought to do it even if Tadashi's busy. ]

[ As enthusiastic as she appears, there is certainly some anxiety and worry attached to suddenly appearing in a new world. There are a lot of questions and little answers, essentially. Knowing that Hiro is here, however, has certainly lifted some weight off her shoulders.

With ease, she finds her way over to his complex, and, upon reaching the garage, she curiously pokes her head inside. ]

Hiro! [ Naturally, the first thing she has to do is hurry over to him and tightly wrap her arms around his shoulders; she even slightly lifts him off the ground. ]

It is so good to see you!

[microbrobotics]

[ Whoa, he'd almost forgotten how hard Honey hugs. He squeaks a bit as his feet lift off the ground. ]

Glad - to see you too, Honey. [ And once he's down again and can catch his breath: ] I'd ask how you've been but, uh - you probably didn't even realize I was gone, huh?

[honeyxlemon]

No, I had no idea! I mean, I just saw you before I found myself here. [ She crosses her arms, shifting her weight to one side as she considers the implications behind it. ] But I guess that wouldn't be the strangest thing about all of this.

[tadeadshi]

[Speaking of strange things, one is coming through the house-side door of the garage now, sounding all the world like it's just another regular day.]

Okay, little brother, what happened and are you hurt?

[microbrobotics]

[ Hiro just grins and takes a step back so that they can see each other properly. ]

Definitely not the strangest thing.

[honeyxlemon]

[ The familiar voice is enough to cause her to instantly freeze. With widened eyes, she opens her mouth in the attempt to say something coherent, but she ends up lightly gasping instead. She glances back to Hiro as if his expression will offer her some sort of explanation. When she only sees a smile, she looks back to the other. ]

Tadashi..?

[tadeadshi]

[He only sees Hiro at first, almost doesn't even see the other there; he's only ever used to Shinjiro or Aki being that tall and around the garage because of their car but--

He catches sight of the glasses and

Oh..

A half grin starts at the corner of his mouth.]

Honey Lemon?

[Oh my god Hiro you little twerp he's gonna put you in the worst headlock ever but RIGHT NOW? Right now he's moving to give Honey Lemon the best hug he can give, doesn't register what her reaction to seeing him probably means because it's one of his best friends HERE.]

[microbrobotics]

[ And Hiro will 100% deserve that headlock, but he really doesn't care right now. It's worth it to see his brother's face light up, and double worth it to see one of his friends see his brother again...

He keeps back from the two of them, still close but letting them have their moment. ]

[ The reality of the situation hits once he addresses her.

This is happening. This is real.

As he nears her, she finally regains herself, and in a quick, fluid motion, she's throwing her arms around his neck. ]

It's you! You're here! You're actually here! [ Don't mind her as she holds the embrace a tad longer than she would under normal circumstances. ]

[tadeadshi]

[Like he cares? He gives her a quick squeeze - can't really pick her up, she's still taller - but he's laughing and grinning. He thought-- Never did think he'd get to see any of his friends again. And look, none of his friends here are touchy feely okay, he's missed hugs so much, indulge him, Honey Lemon.]

Yeah- Yeah, it's me, I'm here. But you-!

When did you get here?

[He keeps a hand on her shoulder, his left one with a bit of bandage and a weird looking wrist watch with no watch-face. But all eyes are on her face to see if he can guess when she's from.]

[ There will be plenty of hugs coming from her. She's actually somewhat hesitant to let him go as they break away. Honey usually tends to be calm in anomalous situations, but this is something else, something she could have never prepared herself for. ]

Today, I just got here, and -

[ Okay. This is too difficult to resist. She steps forward to envelop him into another hug. Her usual smile manages to grace her features, although it is wavering slightly. ]

I'm so happy you're here, Tadashi.

[tadeadshi]

Oh man, so you haven't even had the chance to settle in or anything, jeez...

[And another hug! Oh man hugs are great, and he is going to take Hiro down later because oh m ygod why did you spring this on her right as she got here??? Rude, little brother. Something crawls up to his throat and his eyes are wet and he takes a minute to just. Try to breathe without it being obvious how glad he is to see one of his friends.

But if she's not pulling away, neither is he. But when he speaks, his voice is wet and he didn't think this was something he'd have to worry about damn.]

I'm-- I'm happy you're here too. Sorry this is right when you're getting here.

No, no, it's okay!

[ Honestly, seeing her friends are infinitely more important to her than taking some time to get used to some strange, new world. She's stuck here for now, so there's plenty of time to go do that.

By the sound of his tone, she does not have to see his face to know that his eyes are glossing over. It takes quite a bit to break her down; she tends to be the comforter, not the comforted. But that? That gets her.

She can feel her eyes welling up, so, with one hand against his back, she uses the other to rub at her face.

After a few seconds, she takes a short step backwards. Her eyes are tinted pink, her glasses are crooked, she's sniffling, but her smile could not possibly get any wider. ]

This is definitely the welcoming I needed. [ As in don't be ridiculous, Tadashi. Of course seeing the Hamada brothers would be her priority! ]

[ Gosh. He has to wipe at his own face, just a little; he'd known his brother was close to his friends, but this reaction was even bigger than he'd expected. He is so, so glad he decided to just go with this plan. ]

Sorry, Honey. If I'd waited any longer, Tadashi might have seen your post and ruined the surprise. Besides, he surprised me when he showed up. Walked right into my birthday party.

[tadeadshi]

[It helps that there's the threat of potential death lingering over Tadashi's side of things, unsure if he ever would see them again. He works to straighten his expression when she steps back so it's not too obvious.

Laughing at Hiro's little reminder helps.]

And I remind you that was an accident, not preplanned, you little jerk.

[Annnd back to Honey]

We should probably get out of the garage, we have a whole house we can talk in.

[ Hiro and Tadashi's interaction elicits a soft chuckle from Honey. She missed seeing the two of them together, and, of course, she's elated that they've been reunited. ]

Just be careful if the others come. [ Fred might react in a similar fashion to her, but the other two? Wasabi and GoGo never appeared to be the type of people who enjoyed surprises.

Towards Tadashi's suggestion, she nods in agreement, curious to explore a bit. ]

Lead the way!

[tadeadshi]

[Agreed. He knows for a fact he'd probably come out with a busted nose from Wasabi if he got too close before announcing himself. But he leads them back into the house and to the kitchen, not even missing a beat to start making hot tea for Honey.]

So that means the others aren't here with you, huh?

[Small hopes, he knew it'd be stretching. But he's still glad to have her here all the same.]

[ As she follows along, she is simultaneously allowing her eyes to wonder as they pass from room to room. It really isn't so much nosiness as it is attempting to get a feel for this new environment.

Her concentration falls back onto Tadashi when he speaks again, and a light frown tugs at the edges of her lips. ]

No, but that doesn't mean that they won't eventually be here.

[ It's definitely a house inhabited by teenaged boys. While Shinjiro and Tadashi probably keep it from being a total wreck, it's still cluttered and messy in spots. Especially anywhere Hiro's laid claim to, which is most of the garage and definitely the area around his room. But since they're going to the kitchen first, she'll have time to see that later. ]

It's totally possible. We could all end up here.

[tadeadshi]

[Mm. They could all end up here... Which wouldn't necessarily be a bad thing except that it's still not home. So even if they did all show up, it wouldn't stop him from his planning.

...Right, more important things in front of him. He makes sure he has Honey Lemon's tea mug in his good hand when he turns to set it on the table for her - see Hiro he's trying because you asked okay - and smiles.]

Could always check at the swear in if we don't see them anywhere else before that.

Fingers crossed. [ Because it would be wonderful to have the whole gang together, to experience this with each other. There's added danger, of course, and she would never wish harm on any of her friends, but, maybe, with their minds pulled together, they could figure out how to get everyone home.

She gives a quick 'thanks' as she graciously accepts the mug. The state Tadashi's other hand nabs her vision, and she makes a mental note to possibly ask about it later. ]

What's the swear in like, anyways?

It's uh...

[He thinks back to the last two swear ins he went to and he gets the feeling they were not the usual par for course. The first one, his, had been interrupted with a terrorist attack on another city they were called in to go help and that had been its own nightmare. Last month's had ended in an all out brawl he still didn't know what started it.

Yyyyyyeah.]

They're definitely something. They're nice, good way to see if you missed anyone that just got ported in if they haven't posted to the network. The first one I went to was pretty formal, but last month's was a little more laid back.

[ Hiro just gives his bro a look. Like seriously, that's the best you could come up with? ]

And both ended horribly. Bad stuff happens at these a lot.
