[ Peter's had enough. He's tired of trailing after the shadows of Sylar like it'll get him anywhere and he's done this already. It got old the first time he got shoved off a rooftop. It got even older the... second? time he helped kill Sylar. And now? He's just over it. Long past over it. And he's not going to apologize for his behavior.

Which is why he's now taking a page out of Claire's handbook. Especially since he's figured a certain something out.

... Peter's seated plainly at a table, a rather large kitchen knife laying in front of him. You know, one of those you see running rampant in horror movies. ]

Hey, Sylar.

[ He smiles plainly, picks up said knife and waves it in front of the comm, his other hand resting palm side down on the table. ] You paying attention?

[ A second later, no hesitation, he slams it into the back of his hand, barely managing a flinch in the process. Though he doesn't look particularly comfortable when he goes about twisting it around. For. Y'know. Posterity's sake. Keeping Sylar's interest is important, here. Another few seconds and he pulls it back out, tossing the knife to clatter on the table. Shoving his palm into the screen of the comm device, it only takes a second or two for the wound to begin healing, knitting itself together until it's gone completely, leaving behind tracks of blood.

Wiping his hand off on his jeans, he looks rather expectantly at his comm, completely blase. ] So. Interested in talking yet? Or do I still have to come find you.

Sylar's always been good at making himself scarce when he wants to be. Believe me, i've been putting up with him for awhile.

Yeah, he comes from the same place I do. My world. Hadn't been in the closest of contact, but we've been reconnected for awhile. Before showing up here.

We're just lucky. And yeah, i'm not exactly on his list of favorites. But the first time I met Sylar was because he was after someone else's healing power. It's one of his favorites.

[ Ugh. That's ... that's really worrying. His own brother has healing too, though not the same variety. And of course there's... ]

anything else? what about fire? if he has it already, he doesn't need another copy, right?

[ yeah, he's guessing there are other people out there that can heal. which is partially why he's throwing himself in the ring first... apart from past histories and all that. ]

He won't go after someone else with fire if he's already got it.

[ Phew. At least there's no chance of Sylar wanting his brother for that particular power, then. ]

Believe me, I understand. They'll be fine. Probably helps that he's got a limit here. Might be choosier than he usually is.

[ oh god why do people ask him this, he's terrible at giving descriptions..... but he's also had sylar less than an inch from his face, you think he'd be able to paint a picture by now. ]

Over six feet, lean, darker hair (not too short), not clean shaven, longer face. Eyebrows. You'd notice the eyebrows. He'd be wearing black.

[ look, he's not a police artist, okay. or an artist at all. that was isaac's job for a reason. ]

I don't think i've ever had a picture of him. Hasn't shown his face on the network, either. But I can get one for you.
