002 - Audio
[It's time to play the 'who's awake at 1 AM' game! If you're not, Tetsuo's talking softly enough that it might not wake you. If you want to see or answer this later in the day when normal people are awake, feel free, but please specify.]
Everybody's got powers, right? That's why they want us to stick around...
[You can just hear how much he likes that prospect. He all but spits those last two words out like it's a curse.]
So anyway, I'm curious.
How many of you have 'side effects' from them? Anybody know? I know there's gotta be more than one... but it's not all of you, is it?
I - nnghh. I wanna know why that is... why's it only some people?

video;
[Tetsuo actually throws the phone, jerking away as if it physically burned him. You ASKED for this, idiot, what were you expecting.]

[That's a very nice video of the ceiling, there. Hey, look, there's a kitten coming over to sniff at the communicator.
Tetsuo's suddenly very, very glad this is over video. Holy hell what the fuck TANK]
no subject
You have a KITTY what's it's name??
That isn't one of the Sneeze Kittens that Dipper sneezes out is it???
no subject
[We'll get to the cat later, what the fuck is wrong with this place]
no subject
It makes it easier to refer to them rather than 'my cat' especially if you have numerous pets so you don't have to establish 'my black and white cat' or 'my cat that meows when it wants food' you can just say 'Furball' kind of like a reference number but names are easier to remember than numbers, and they also hold sentimental value since there's effort and thought put into assigning names instead of numbers!!
no subject
Aaughh!
[If his head didn't hurt before, it would now. It's like someone gave a dictionary a voice-activated option.]
Forget the cat, what was that other thing?!
no subject
I didn't see anything besides the cat when I assume you dropped your phone?? What did it look like???
no subject
Tetsuo still hasn't come to reclaim his phone yet. It belongs to the kitten for now.]
NO! I meant the - the...
[The sentence stalls as Tetsuo does some mental figuring to try to see if that was his brain hating him or he actually heard that]
no subject
Are you alright??
[ Tachikoma starts trying to pull up Tetsuo's phone on the network trying to hack its GPS. ]
no subject
[That'll be a thoroughly easy hack. Tetsuo clearly has no skills with encryption and has done nothing to customize his communicator, so it's as standard as they come. Current location: Fifth government housing unit, Nonah, United States.]
no subject
Tachikoma zoomed out of the garage of Nonah #7 where her charge station was and headed to Nonah #5.
*ding dong* ]
Hey sounds like you've got someone at the door you should go answer it!!!
1/2
[It's 1:15 AM, who the hell...? He waits for a bit to see if anyone else gets it first, but no one does. The doorbell's pretty inaudible from where he is, maybe no one else heard it.
Fine...
He slowly drags himself out of bed, leaning heavily on the walls to wind his way downstairs and to the door. He's so not in the mood for this; being upright only makes his head pound more right now. Whoever it is can go bite him.
The door yanks open with a flex of his mind, and - and...]
no subject
YEAAAUGH!!
[Tetsuo backs away hurriedly, loses his footing, crashes to the ground, continues trying to backpedal away.]
no subject
[ Tachikoma looks behind her, looking scared!! ]
Is it invisible???
[ If that's the case better turn invisible too! Tachikoma ducks behind the doorframe and activates her Thermoptic Camouflage, almost perfectly blending into the surface next to her. ]
no subject
And then there's two more-or-less kids locked in a spiral of scaring each other. Tetsuo screams again for good measure, flattening himself as much as possible against the wall, not daring to move enough to stand up.]
no subject
She hacked into the police dispatch and inserted an APB on the location warning of INVISIBLE MONSTER. ]
no subject
Is anyone there? [Her tone isn't particularly threatening, at least.]
no subject
no subject
FUCK if he ever knows lately. It's just as insane as anything else, it might as well be.
He slowly drags himself to his feet, hazarding a glance out of the house. If nothing else, he's curious, and nothing's actually happened yet.]
no subject
What are you doing out here- and what makes you think there's a monster? [Although Sabriel's drawing here sword, just in case.]
Stay close to me.
no subject
[ She points at Tetsuo ]
- was seeing something strange, and when I came over he saw something outside and screamed, and I can see anything but it's too dangerous to try to change back and try to scan for it!!
[ Definitely too dangerous, not that she's too afraid. ]
no subject
He doesn't even know. As the little girl who looks like the tank sounded explains further, Tetsuo straightens up and glares off to the side. Don't blame him for this. This is clearly not his fault in any way, shape or form.]
no subject
What did you see, and do you think it's dangerous?
i'm so sorry, I hope I'm not annoying people by going
[The problem with hallucinating stuff sometimes is even when it's normal, it can still get to you.]
Hey, wait -- how'd you know my name??
