Everybody's got powers, right? That's why they want us to stick around...

[You can just hear how much he likes that prospect. He all but spits those last two words out like it's a curse.]

So anyway, I'm curious.

How many of you have 'side effects' from them? Anybody know? I know there's gotta be more than one... but it's not all of you, is it?

I - nnghh. I wanna know why that is... why's it only some people?

I had to train! Learning to control my power helped a lot.

[The real answer is, not intentionally. At all. It SAYS he can on the sheet he's got, so ... in ... theory, yes. Doesn't mean he has managed it - unless you count hallucinations and occasional voices. But depending on how good she is at reading body language, he's either got no clue how that bit works, or he's totally got this.

Because she doesn't get an answer, not exactly. This is video. She gets a cocky grin.]

[ It's hard to tell with the lack of lighting, but she's leaning toward yes.

I guess it's for the best. It would be weird to hear someone's thoughts from that far way. What if they were thinking something creepy or disgusting? Ew...

So that power is giving you trouble?

Yeah, sometimes.

It hurts a lot, doesn't it? My headaches wouldn't go away for a while either.

[ A contemplative pause. ]

Have you tried medication?

Doesn't do much.

I had the same problem... that's why I train almost everyday. Control can be hard to learn, but if you work hard it'll come quickly.

Does it go away if you do that?

For me it did. I only get small headaches if I use the power for too long since I'm still adjusting.

Guess that's something...

Give it a shot! You'll never know unless you try.

Um, maybe there's an imPort doctor I can ask? If you need some kind of medication for the headaches.
