( ooc: this is a pretty ridiculous post, but just chucking this behind a cut in case! Sarissa's kind of flippant and terrible sometimes, so I'm also gently linking an opt out post if there's any topics you'd sooner not come up, or would just prefer to opt out of cr with her generally :]b
content warning: discussion of cults, reference to serial killers, and potentially murder/group suicide/any else terrible that could tie into cults that could come up in the comments. I'll update as necessary. )
basically I've been told that unless I manage to successfully build a cult I'm inferior to alarming murderers
as such I'm doing some research into what would most appeal to my impending adoring followers
know a lot of you adore me anyway, but you know, gotta get those still on the fence to lean over this way some more
so
1. What would make you most likely to join a cult?
2. What do you think is most important for an inspiring cult leader to have:
3. How do you feel about obeying my every instruction?
4. Isn't "The Cult" a 90s movie with witches?
5. Sugar gliders?

text;
it's okay, I know it can be overwhelming to deal with someone this amazing sometimes, don't feel self-conscious, Posh.
text; this is glorious
Rachel. Duncan.
[ She's not going to even humor her. Overwhelming? Yes. But not because she was amazing. ]
text; what a ridiculous mess lmao
yeah but that's four whole syllables
Posh Spice is two
Posh is just one
50% less energy expenditure
it's good for the environment
it's for the sake of the planet
I'm helping humanity progress
text; m e s s
[ There's a pause. Just for effect. She's gotta be dramatic, even in texting. ]
You've shown considerable intelligence, but nothing astonishing. You have the same genetic makeup as I have, and according to statics, there are certain traits we all share. I've met many clones, and frankly, understanding them isn't difficult. You're all too open, too simple. Humor is, more often than not, a coping mechanism. Seeing how easily you slip into it, you've been doing it for a long time, which means it all started as a cry for attention when you were younger.
Which could only mean that right now, you need that laughter. The humor is there to assert yourself over others, give them the permission to laugh at you. But the question is, what's bringing you down so much now?
[ She has no idea Sarissa isn't actually a clone, which will ruin this whole, surprisingly accurate, analysis of her. Either way, she'll spin things to her own benefit, the better she understands people, the easier they are for her to use them. ]
just going to sneakily retcon it so Sarissa's 2nd reply onwards is private for secret clone talk :]b
and then it feels like she just took a knock to the chest, though she doesn't let it slow her response: )
or maybe I just like being a bit of a dickhead? I think we can all agree I'm kind of obnoxious. seriously, it might even be the only thing we all agree on. the sky being blue is still up for debate.
although I will admit
gravity is a real drag, honestly, it's just killing me
I feel so weighed down
yep totally private
Looks like this conversation won't be going anywhere meaningful. I've said what I wanted to.
Good day to you, Sarissa.
no subject
nice-amused laugh, not sadistic liferuiner laugh, mind )
heartbreaker!
Have a good one, Rachel.
