( ooc: this is a pretty ridiculous post, but just chucking this behind a cut in case! Sarissa's kind of flippant and terrible sometimes, so I'm also gently linking an opt out post if there's any topics you'd sooner not come up, or would just prefer to opt out of cr with her generally :]b
content warning: discussion of cults, reference to serial killers, and potentially murder/group suicide/any else terrible that could tie into cults that could come up in the comments. I'll update as necessary. )
basically I've been told that unless I manage to successfully build a cult I'm inferior to alarming murderers
as such I'm doing some research into what would most appeal to my impending adoring followers
know a lot of you adore me anyway, but you know, gotta get those still on the fence to lean over this way some more
so
1. What would make you most likely to join a cult?
2. What do you think is most important for an inspiring cult leader to have:
3. How do you feel about obeying my every instruction?
4. Isn't "The Cult" a 90s movie with witches?
5. Sugar gliders?

text
he must have been a really good student if he just did it for fun
are all the people you know geniuses?!
text
he was so convinced it'd help that he spent a bunch of time on it and totally neglected studying for other shit instead
no, not all of them
my sisters are all really smart, though, never play Scrabble with them
I've lost so much money to making that mistake
( that may or may not be a joke )
text
what's scrabble??
[Educational board games like that are an enigma to her. Game of Life all the way!!]
text
tried to set fire to part of the school though
complicated guy
it's uhhhhh a word thing
there's a board with different squares on it
and you get random tiles with letters on them and you need to make words
and try to hit different squares for points
its a lot more fun in practice than when i try to describe it
text
is he a delinquent?
[Can only imagine the non-redeemable delinquents doing that sort of thing tbh]
oooh!! so you can make as many words as you want?!
and as long as possible?
text
honestly it was the first time he did anything like that
like pranks and stuff before, but no fires
I think he got his stuff worked out, it just took a while for him to get things sorted, you know?
well you gotta take turns
and you only get seven tiles at a time, maximum, and you gotta build them off existing words
but say someone wrote a word and you could add all seven letters you've got onto that and make a word? there'd be no limit, I don't think
I'm not a big enough nerd to ever do that, mind
text
although there was never any fire involved
and there were always bad scores for everything
i understand!
so like if someone puts down "extra"
can you add "vagant" to the end of it??
we should play it sometime!!
text - that face omg i'm dying
exactly
"extra" and "vagrant" are both very good words to describe me, too, actually
just a sidenote
uhhhhh oh god are you sure
text - she has some great faces
but it's more of a dark past than anything
[Which isn't all that dark, but an exaggeration.]
how is that a sidenote if you're an extravagant person?!
that should be a main note!
and of course!! it's always fun to play games with friends?
