When Kaneki comes to the screen he is wearing glasses and is surrounded by books and two computer screens, and he looks like he hasn't slept in years (because, let's be honest, he hasn't). He will get right to the point when the video feed starts, offering a small smile and a bow of his head ]

Hello. I wish to bring something to you today. Years ago, an imPort by the name of Kate Bishop started a FAQ, with the idea to give every imPort the information they needed about this world and their situation. It was a good idea, but once she was ported out, this FAQ became out of date and it hasn't been updated in years. I wish to bring it back and follow what Miss Bishop wanted to do. I already have her FAQ, which I'll be adapting and updating but given two years have passed since it was written, I think it's necessary to add what today's imPorts want to know and worry about.

That's why I'm making this post. If you have any question you want to see in this FAQ, go ahead and ask. I'll be adding them to the document. And of course, share the document once it's ready.

Yes, and I'll add more to it because the nanites changed a bit over time. Miss Bishop left before it was found that the government could track us through them, and of course before Miss Raina's discoveries on how they are the ones that stabilize our powers.

But imPorts do, yes. We have in our bloodstream nanites that not only heal us, but will bring us back to life in case our brain functions cease. They do this through the use of a rare element called Continuum.

As easy as it would be to comment on his haggard appearance (or at least recommend a good brand of concealer), he focuses on the topic at hand for now. ] Hard at work as always, I see. To be honest, I've been keeping my queries for the veterans among us to a minimum, precisely because I imagine they have better things to do with their time than answer the same questions over and over again.

That said, there is something I would like to ask. Namely, do native police forces actively try to apprehend imPort criminals who are at large? Or is it an unspoken rule that the imPort community as a whole should generally regulate itself?

I don't mind so much answering questions. it means you are interested. [ and most imports aren't, sadly ]

While they do try, admittedly, they can't do much because they don't have superpowers. That's why they usually rely on us or the metahumans. they expect it too, since many imPorts are registered and that should mean they sort of accept being superheroes. In theory.
