But he finally manages, a smiling face--albeit a little strained--greeting the camera.]

Hello everyone. Well...uh, my name is Makoto Tachibana and I am new here it seems. I don't exactly understand what is going on and [There's a pause, and Makoto can be seen wringing his wrist a bit.] I was told that if I wanted to know more, or get a real feel of what my purpose for being here is that the communicators were the best place to start. I wish I could be a little more specific with what I need help with, but everything has been confusing so I don't really know where to even begin. So...sorry about that.

[The smile twists into an embarrassed grimace, and a strained chuckle huffs from his lungs.]

Also...if anyone could direct me to a hardware shop in the city...uh, I would really appreciate that as well! I'm in Residence...026, if that helps. Thank you again.

[He had already broken two doorknobs and one of the drawers to his dresser, and it would be nice to maybe fix them before his apparent roommates came home. Or at least he was pretty sure other people were living here with him as well.]

Hello, again. [ A vaguely self-depreciating smile and a wave goes here, as Chrollo leans over a table toward his propped-up communicator. ] I've found myself in sort of a tricky situation, and I could use some advice.

Have you ever... tried to redeem someone? Someone you know could do a lot of good, if they applied themselves. Maybe they've gotten off to a rocky start, but you know there's potential.

If so, how did you do it? Did you have a strategy? Were there any approaches you found useful? I'd be happy to take any tips or general advice you might have. I've never done this kind of thing before, so I'm all ears. Even if you haven't been in a situation like that before, and it's just hypothetical advice, I'm still happy to listen.

I apologize for my... absence as of late. I've been in the lab running tests on... well. I will get to that. [ She offers a smile before pulling the clipboard she has off camera, closer.] First of all, I wanted to thank Mr. Stark for allowing me to use his labs to run the tests. And I would also like thank all who donated blood samples.

Here are my findings as promised: [ She takes a breath, reminding herself to keep things in layman's terms.] Unfortunately, in regards to my own queries, the results were mostly inclusive. I did, indeed, find self-replicating nanties in the blood samples I took. But they seem to do nothing to affect bodily functions in a significant way.

Long story short--[ she winces because she prefers to babble about science rather than shorten an explanation.] after extensive testing, these nanites do not seem to be the source of our "powers". At least not on their own. [ oh, she wishes fitz was here, he'd probably be able to fill in the missing pieces of the puzzle somehow.]
