I'm sorry to ruin all of the pleasant news that's been shared recently, but this is important.

[this is quite a departure in tone from what people on the network usually hear from Jonathan - it's steely and solemn, no trace of the sunny young man chatting amiably about dogs and lost items.]

A week ago two imPorts were kidnapped by a man named Robert Jennings for the sole purpose of hunting them down like animals. [the disgust in his voice is barely contained] They were rescued and Mr. Jennings himself was apprehended - but a group called the Go Fors whose services he utilized is still operating.

They provided technology which made it possible to spirit the pair of them away without causing suspicion, as well as keep them trapped long enough to be hunted. There were at least six individuals involved; I can provide names and some other information to whoever would like it.

This can't be allowed to happen again. I'll do whatever I can to help anyone interested in taking this up as well, whether through more details or physical assistance, but...in the meantime, please be careful, everyone.

They managed to contact someone who told us what was happening and where they were. Then we simply went out to retrieve them.

No, it was at sea, although not terribly far out. The Ripple allows me to walk on water when I channel it correctly, so I simply carried the others.

[just ignoring that comment about his butt in favor of trotting out to meet up with Ramir. it's not far, so it doesn't take him too long to reach his destination...and he's as easy to pick out of a crowd as always.]

[ Ramir is currently outside the building, settled comfortably in a lean against her hovervespa, and scrolling through options on her phone. It's warm enough now that most of the public pools nearby will probably be swarming with kids, and that won't be much fun. Man, this search is a little harder than she thought it'd be... so much for a pool a block away. She fails to look up in time to spot Jonathan, as conveniently spottable as he is. ]

[thankfully Jonathan's a little more on the ball than she is. he walks over to her easily, probably accidentally blocking out whatever natural light she was using to see her phone in the process.]

Hello, Miss Ramir. I hope I haven't kept you waiting long.

[ She glances up at the first sign of a shadow and pulls on an instinctively fond smile — right up until the greeting, then it's a quick grimace. ]

Kill the miss. [ She drops her eyes back to her phone again. ] Also gimme a sec more, or else tell me you got some rich friend with a pool we can borrow.

[Jonathan just laughs quietly at her recoil from etiquette - he's called her that before!! - and comfortably settles into a sitting position near her vespa. he doesn't mind waiting as long as she needs.]

I'm afraid I left all of those at home. But I'm certain you'll get along well enough without any of them.

[ She sighs heavily, shoves her bangs out of her face, and gets back to the search. Come on, internet, don't fail her now. ]

There's uh... oh, hang on, there's a pond. It won't be too impressive when it's shallow, but it'll still work — right?
