[ The alias attached to the entry reads only Scarlet Witch, no name given. The alias is a relic, a token from the old days when she and Pietro shouted revolution from the rooftops. After HYDRA, Wanda didn't think she had anything to fear anymore. No cell could hold her, no bullets could touch her. Together, she and Pietro were invincible. No one could hurt them again.
Then, she came here. ]
today i have learned that in america, a hero is someone who grows fat and lazy off the praises that are given to him, but he has not earned. for this, a hero will give away his freedom.
[ Though she does not fear as she once did, Wanda doesn't accept the tattoo on her wrist easily. Rather than being gunned down in the streets, the masses of "imPorts" allow themselves to be cataloged and controlled -- even those that profess to be unhappy with their enslavement. They say things like, "it could be worse," using that to justify their own slothfulness.
It could always be worse. That doesn't make it right. ]
where i am from, the avengers are so high in their tower that humans appear to them only as little ants. the complacency i see here is worse, i think.
where do i find a true hero?

where do i find a true hero?

Well that's a tad subjective. Miiiiind going further? In the realm of situations are less straight forward and far more complicated.
Not everyone wants to be a hero, after all.

i have heard of you in the news, laying waste to new york. but when it is the rest of the world who suffers, the avengers do nothing.
a hero does not only save those who will benefit him, glorify him, while he profits off the deaths of the rest.

Given, past me has laid waste to FAR worse, but current me is a bit more on the right track. Not the hero track, mind you, but I do have the whole Loki thing going for me.
I take it no one has given you the multiverse talk yet? You may need it. There will be all kinds that will be popping their heads about. Tony Stark for one. I see he was quick enough to respond. Touchy, touchy.

it seems the tony stark of any multiverse will jump at the chance to defend his good name. as if he had one.

And yes, look at him go. Quite the show, isn't it? Tony and his terrible beard sing the song of "Listen to Me I Like to Hear Myself Talk." It sounds suspiciously like "blah blah blah blah blah blah."
TL;DR Everyone is acquainted with ANOTHER Wanda Maximoff from ANOTHER corner of the multiverse. You probably got that. She's an Avenger but there's a LOT of Avengers. Probably like 300. You'll probably see a few of them jumping to the defense. Things are different.
That you had a rep. You might get a bit of that, too.
It kind of sucks, I know how it feels because of the whole LOKI thing, but you might get some good stuff too. Did anyone tell you about Billy yet?
no subject
i have never had a child.
[ Which is still something that doesn't seem real. ]
what reputation did i have?
no subject
It's probably not best to get into it here where Tony Stark can put his big, technological nose.
