[Toshinori's had this post percolating in his head for a while, but he's been hesitant to talk about it, not in the least because he's sure Midoriya, Momoyao and Present Mic would know right away that it was him and would (rightfully) be upset he didn't talk to them first. Heck, anyone he's told his story to might be able to piece it together.

But he has to know, and wants to hear the perspectives of people for whom he isn't All Might. So here he goes.]

I know there are some people here who come from worlds where superheroes are common, so you may know best how to answer this, but then again anybody from any world might have some insight.

Say that, back in your world, you were a great hero. Your life was dedicated to saving people, you loved to do it, and it was all you could ever see yourself doing.

Except something happens, your body just isn't strong enough to support your heroism any longer, and then you have to retire.

What do you do? How do you spend your time when you didn't plan on giving up the proverbial cape so soon? How do you still feel useful?

Hello, everyone. In case you're new here, let me reintroduce myself. I'm Dr. Eli Ever, a neuroscientist with the United States Department of Health and Human Services and an imPort, like you.

[ With such a friendly face! Which is why this is a video post, rather than text. ]

I'd like to speak with you today about the recent multiversal disturbance and the even more recent dissociative affliction experienced by a portion of you. If you're willing and you were affected by either or both of these phenomena, I'd appreciate it if you'd describe your experience and answer a few questions for me.

This isn't a formal survey or study, by any means. Just a conversation, really. I wasn't affected by either event, myself, so I'd like to get a better grasp of the situation from those who were. I hope that this will help me to better serve the imPort community in the days ahead.

I also want to make clear that I'm not a psychiatric doctor. As a neuroscientist, I study brain function, not behavior. I'm not here to provide therapy, but to search for links in symptoms that can paint a picture about how these traumatic events affect overall brain structure, and how to proceed with treatment from there.

We, as imPorts, suffer from unique circumstances that rarely affect the native population, and therefore the conditions that affect us are both underdiagnosed and undertreated. I'm doing my part to correct that disparity, and I hope our conversations can provide insight toward that end.

This might sound strange. But...

From what I've seen so far, there are a lot of people here with superpowers.

[ She doesn’t want to go ahead and say the M word, especially since she’s already seen some people who aren’t so fond of ImPorts. And she’s already harboring a bit of resentment over how many people have an anti-mutant stance back home. ]

Did you all have these powers before you got here? And has anyone had their powers, I don't know, change on them?

[ Rogue isn't big on asking about power dampeners or dampening collars, given how they’re beginning to be used in her world, but something like that would be helpful at this point. At least if she doesn't want to electrocute another dumpster or accidentally start a fire. Even if the idea of one of those things doesn’t sit entirely well with her.

She's also not in any hurry to disclose specific details about her own abilities. There might be other people from home she knows here, but she's not sure yet. And telling a perfect stranger that she has "deadly skin" doesn't seem like a great start. An ice breaker, sure, just not the best one.

And she can’t even begin to imagine how it’ll turn out if she says her powers seem to be working without her even touching anyone. ]

And, maybe, are there training centers for people with unusual powers? I'm not saying I'd want to go to one, but it'd be nice to know the options there.

I'm sure you don't need me to tell you we have a medical emergency on our hands here in Maurtia Falls and De Chima. The terrorist responsible has already taken credit for the incident and it's been discovered that the contamination is being spread through the water supply. To stress what's already been said: Do not come into contact with the local water supply in the affected cities.

My colleagues are currently investigating the situation and we're all hard at work on a treatment plan. In the meantime, I'm seeing patients at the NIH facilities at ground zero in Maurtia Falls. If you or someone you know is experiencing symptoms, please contact me immediately and arrange for transportation to one of our clinics. If you even suspect you might develop symptoms, do not operate a vehicle yourself. Experiencing a hallucination while driving could lead to a fatal accident and it isn't worth the risk to you or the people around you.

Be on the lookout for aggressive behavior, restlessness, disorientation, unwanted thoughts, paranoia, nightmares, or waking hallucinations. If you begin to experience delusions, such as the belief that others are conspiring against you, seek help immediately. People experiencing induced psychosis may be dangerous to themselves and others.

I'm here to help. If someone you know is in crisis and can't be relocated, let me know and I'll come to you. I'll take any questions you have here, although I can't promise that we have the answers just yet.

[ For such a chatty guy, Poe doesn't seem to post to the network all that much. And today? He looks decidedly less than chatty.

He's standing on what seems to be the tarmac of a military airfield, dressed very purposefully and carefully in his full Air Force formal uniform, the double bars on his epaulettes marking his rank as Captain. He isn't usually a man for pointless theatrics. (Pointless stunts is another thing altogether, but this doesn't seem to be about that either.) Clearly, the uniform and the setting have a point.

So he gets right down to it. ]

As you may have heard by now, the State Department has declared a national state of emergency thanks to the mess that's going on, and looks like it's getting worse, fast.

I've been asked to talk to all of you on behalf of the brass, here.

While the military has been - uh - less than enthusiastic about hiring imPorts as a whole, and we're still barred from active duty, they've decided to open up recruitment during the current crisis. Just not exactly for the Army.

Essentially, they're looking for super-powered personnel who are equipped to help handle all the damn weirdness that's going on. They're putting together Emergency Response teams, debriefing and giving a little training, then sending them out into the wild. Mandate is to suppress and contain inter-dimensional anomalies and try to stop the things from spreading.

I know a lot of you have mixed feelings about the Military on this world. Trust me, they've got mixed feelings about you, too. But as long as we're living on this planet, we're sharing it, and if everything is going tits up, then it's going to happen to all of us. We may as well work together.

Anyone already on super-powered teams is probably better off staying where they're at - though I can help coordinate you with Government efforts, if you're interested.

Anyone looking to sign up as Emergency Responders should know that only Registered imPorts can apply. Sorry folks, I didn't make that rule, I'm only here to repeat it.

[ He clearly looks a little uncomfortable, though what exactly about the circumstances or what he's saying is making him feel that way is unclear. ]

Regardless of what you think about any of this - for all intents and purposes, and however long you've been here: this place is our home. I don't really care how you figure out to protect it or who you do it with, but we all need to stand together before everything falls apart.
