Hey! I was asked to be this year's lead singer at my job. I'm expected to sing all types of Christmas songs to the customers both inside the restaurant and while passing out flyers outside too. I don't really know any. And apparently there are a lot of songs for me to choose from. My boss recommended the more "classical" versions, and to give a "flirty, but family friendly" spin to some of them. Whatever that means.

So can anyone help me out in choosing and learning a few of these classical songs? May need some second opinions on the best way to interpret them as. I really want to do a good job at this! Enough to distract everyone from noticing how weird I look in this. How does the actual Mrs. Claus wear this without feeling strange? [Not that she's judging her, of course. It's just a weird choice. Even if it does look colorful.]

Hey. So, I imagine I'm not the only one missing home right about now. ( she's never actually gotten a chance to spend the holidays with her family, but that's not making it any easier for her. she'd never cared about Christmas until she had a family she wasn't spending it with. ) This is maybe the worst time for it, if you ask me, and while I can't send you back home, I thought I could do something.

I'm a party planner by trade, here, and I've learned enough skills that I thought I'd offer. I can't say I care much about the office Secret Santa pool, but I thought maybe my fellow imports might.

( or might not. who knows. she's going to give it a try, anyway. ) If you give me your name, and some things you like, I'll float your name along the line and give you a name to shop for, too. It's not much, but hey. All of us will have at least one present under the tree. ...Or not, if you don't have a tree. I'm not judging.
