Within the next 12 hours, this information and more will be shared with the public. For a group of "heroes," there is quite a lot of blood spilled under your name, isn't there?

Do you know how much damage you've done?

The actual toll you've taken on this world?

Half a billion is taken out of the pocket of the civilians you've "saved" to cover damages, freebies, and those Swear-In ceremonies. Money that could be put towards so many other things; poverty, food shortages, housing for those people who really need it. Like parasites, you take from the host and give nothing back.

And all for what? So that the Government can hope to convince you to be their personal weapons of warfare. After all, you're the only kind of weapon they have that they can simply bring back to life should you die. Those nanites in every single imPort body ensure that.

So Heroes.

Do you think you can really make this world a better place, with all of the baggage you have tying you down? Maybe there is a chance you can do some good… But you need to first remove the threads that hold you to the deception being administered.

[OOC: Aaaand Inumuta is currently infected with the Hornet's Mind Clone of Miguel Rodriguez right now! So he's not exactly himself at the moment. Right now, Inumuta's doing the whole anonymous schtick, but if any hackers/people capable of tracking him down do any digging whatsoever, they'll find him. He's intentionally not covering his tracks as well as he could have because as a Hornet, he isn't shying away from any jabs he can get at Imports.

So, action is possible, but please try to coordinate with other players in this! Feel free to threadjack, whatever!

I dunno who the hell told you all this about Barnaby, but that's not even half the story. Maverick was the one who staged crimes--it was him and only him, none of the rest of us knew about it. When we first came across evidence that could even begin to come back and implicate him, he tried to have us all killed just to cover his tracks.

[When he first sees the post, Barnaby actually freezes in his chair for a solid 30 seconds. The tidbit concerning Hero TV, he realizes, consists of things he's discussed in public, albeit in fragments throughout the months. Considering how large the imPort community is, and the fact he's more or less avoided the Hornet investigation up until now, though, Barnaby didn't think anyone actually cared enough about him to go through the trouble of cobbling information together for the sake of ruining his reputation.

Of course, anyone who'd go through the trouble of grabbing his medical history, of all things, shouldn't be underestimated. That's actually the part that upsets him the most, although he manages to school his face into a hardened expression before finally turning on the camera.]

People who suspect you're affiliated with the Hornets might be inclined to doubt your information, given your lack of sources and the fact a lot of Heropa went up in flames for their cause.

The aforementioned television program is something I've talked about in public before, but if you know about the staged crimes, then you'd realize my employer was actually responsible. That part doesn't do enough to drag imPorts through the mud, though, so I can see why you left it out.
