I think its time for a change.

[a vague comment at best, she could be referring to a number of different things. after all, there is a lot about herself that Ryuuko wishes she could change... but, old habits die hard, as they say.

speaking of habits, mainly bad ones, running away happens to be one of hers. she's kept to herself the past month or so, cutting herself off from her friends and people she knows in order to stay aloof and avoid having to talk about how she's been feeling. which is predictable behavior for her when she's forced into emotionally trying situations. like losing her most precious friend- no. Senketsu is so much more than that, but there are no proper words to accurately describe what it is he means to her.

or rather what he meant to her.

however, no matter how clouded her mind has been through these past few weeks of silent suffering, one thing is clear: she can't continue to carry on this way. she has to keep moving forward. it's what he would have wanted, right?]

guess im in the market for some new scenery... preferably someplace close to the beach.

Hello again. [ A Scottish accent, tempered by living in London. ] It's really been a while since I've been around, or on the network or anything. I think I've been a little pre-occupied by, um, some things. Yeah.

Anyway. [ He clears his throat and sits up taller in his seat, three fingers on each hand wrapped in white bandages. ] I've been thinking about looking into some supplementary work. Or then again, I might just need a new job proper, a fresh start. If anyone has suggestions or knows someone who's hiring—or, if you are hiring, for that matter—I'm quite interested in scoping out other potential employment opportunities and things.

[ Then it seems he's just had an idea or remembered something. ]

Oh, and. I remember having a little problem with... an old habit. I'd asked for help, gotten a little bit, and I guess I'd forgotten to really follow up on it, you know? So I'm just a little unsure of where to really go from here.

[ Feigning relief with marginal success, he exhales audibly. ]

Saving the world, maintaining peace - sure, uh huh. This all absolutely falls under my job description as the Ava- [ Her cheekbones flush red and she cocks her head with a sharp exhale, biting down the last word before it could come out in full. ] - Never mind. Not important.

But you know what is important? This totally killed my vacation.

[ Her eyes then look sidelong to something out of frame when a deep, labored panting that sounded like it was coming from a massive source.

She frowns and apologizes to whatever is breathing so heavily before leaning back into frame. ]

Hey there, imports. [ The video shows a guy with a look on his face that clearly says business. Although there's a smile, it's pretty obvious it's a 'business smile', although the way he dips his head shows off the right side of his face instead of the left. Every now and then, though, he turns slightly, and it's pretty obvious he's got some marks on his face, although they're not prominent. Faded, like scars. (Or from plastic surgery) ]

Anyone from back in the City can attest that this was probably expected, but for those of you who don't know me, I'm Mitchell Hundred. Now back in the City, it was Mayor Hundred, and before that -- where I come from -- it was also Mayor Hundred, [ A slight pause, here. ] and, later on, Ambassador. I'm sure you can tell where this is going, if you followed the news at all.

Like the other candidates who posted here have said, they're electing ambassadors, and if you've been around De Chima, I'm sure you've seen the posters, and heard the ads. I thought I'd take my time to get here, since most of you know who I am, and what my preferred career choice is.

So, if you're in De Chima, tell me what you'd like us to work on. I know the environment of the city, and I've spent quite some time in there. For those of you who own businesses, what kind of support would help you the most? If you want to, what do you need? If you have no interest in it, what issues matter to you?

I'd like to be your ambassador, so tell me exactly what kind of ambassador you'd like to have, so we can work together, if I'm elected.

[Upon retrospect this is a pretty terrible idea. Even if she's using text over video, asking for some help with this studying thing might not be the best of ideas. She'll have to meet with one or more of these people eventually. What if she's still stuck in this dumb magical girl outfit? That's embarrassing. It's already bad enough that she has to go out in public. And it's not like she can wear a huge coat and hat indoors.

Unrelated to flirty flounders, someone asked me about... well, basically about this place and I realized I've been kind of willingly ignorant to anything that's going on around me. I've read the FAQ, but is there anything else I should know?
