I was going to apologize for throwing more inane bullshit on here, but since we're all going to be dying of plague soon I guess it's actually kind of topical. Get out while you still can, you know?
Anyway. Has anyone from an earth like this visited their home here? Was that kind of fun or just massively depressing?
And uh, I guess if the overwhelming answer is depressing I'm also taking vacation recommendations. I'm not really picky as long as it's somewhere kind of quiet and thought provoking. Someplace you can clear your head, you know?

I was in Germany for a few days. I heard London's not bad either, although that was back home. Couldn't really tell you what it's like here.

Alaska is pretty quiet. [ maybe too quiet. ]

[she supposes it's only logical; not every version of planet earth can have exactly the same locations, even when contained to similar countries and continents. but it was still kind of a jarring thing to hear. she can't say she cares for it.]
What are the odds I'd end up treed by a bear, do you think?
[ text ]
I wonder. As long you don't run them over with hoovervespas, i think you'll be safe.-

[ Must be nice to react calmly to things when you know it can't kill you. ]
And I haven't. I don't even know if I'd be allowed to.

Why, you wanted for something at home? Or is it just more of that government bullshit?

If they can still get out, and the entire city isn't already quarantined.
Not really, but it's a little too close to enemy territory for them to want to send imPorts unless they were on a mission probably. And I'm not that interested in going on one of those. Besides, I'm not that interested in going there anyway. It's not my real country, no one I know would be there.
[ And at the very bottom a locked message. ]

Can you even get infected?

I don't even know if I could go back to Japan.
But if you get a chance. Osaka was the best place in the world. Even if it's not very quiet.
text
Not that I've ever been to Japan period. What's it like?
text
Japan's great. Especially this time of year. Go when the cherry blossom festival is happening if you like trees.

[Bart just kind of shrugs, a lopsided grin on his face]
One of the cities that doesn't exist here I guess it's weird there's houses there and some shops that are similar but otherwise it's completely different.
permatext
So, what, it's an entirely different city in this world? That's even weirder than the guy whose college went missing.
